Nikki + Andrew :: Howl in Long Beach
Nikki + Andy are two of the most laid back SoCal vibe-ing humans we've had the pleasure of working with! Not only are they practically neighbors of ours in good ol' Long Beach, but that's probably why we connected from the very beginning over our love of music, cocktails, and donuts (oh yeah, and wedding planning). They started their relationship by meeting at the South by Southwest Festival and kept in touch over long phone-calls while Andy was on tour with his band. From moves to touring, these two have been each other's rock for years and each of those aspects of their relationship were very much engrained in their wedding.
N+A chose Howl for their wedding venue, which is actually where I met them when I coordinated events there. The industrial loft was a perfect fit for their intimate guestcount and laidback celebration. They wanted to keep it relaxed and cozy so of course, that meant yummy craft cocktails, a donut bar, and wood fired pizza as their catering! entrees! Nikki surprised Andy by singing to him in front of their guests and they both shared so many special moments remembering those that could not be present during this special day...one of their best friends + best man had passed away just a month prior to the wedding date. Aside from the truly sentimental details incorporated in their wedding, they were certainly a group that knew how to celebrate (notice the matching flamingo short suits their best friends/officiants wore)! We love these two more than words and cannot wait to see what adventures they get into next!
