Katie + Jack :: Darlington House
Let me start by saying that when you find your people, you just know. Katie and Jack are a serious reflection of my husband and I which is why I enjoyed every little nook and cranny of their wedding planning. They are from Los Angeles, family on the East Coast, wanted to host a super intimate coastal celebration in none other than San Diego, a whiskey bar that would rock your socks off, exclude most if not ALL "tradition" you see at other weddings, and well...celebrate the shit out of their best day ever. Did I mention that they got married at the same venue as my husband and I? Again, my people to a "T."
Katie and Jack tied the knot in November 2016 and they hired our team for full service planning and design from the start of their engagement. The Darlington House in La Jolla was an obvious choice for it's intimate and historical nature, creating a natural romantic atmosphere. Our graphic designer bride Katie, even used it as inspiration when creating her own invitation suite. Their wedding was filled with gorgeous pops of autumn color, a lot of texture, and touch of coastal elegance. We worked with a dream team (no really...I couldn't have put together a more perfect team for these two for their intimate celebration turned super fun party!
P.S. Although I was obsessed with each little detail of their wedding day, their dessert display has to be a favorite!!
